MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing prdoucts is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of kids. If an accidetnal overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blokcs of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficeincy due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, vitamin products may be hottest taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medicatoin may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contcat your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megalobalstic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, conatct your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products avaliable.
Some can be purchased witohut a prescription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is alomst time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of kids.
